Easter weekend was awesome and my parents came to visit. We even went to Midnight Mass at the Duomo on Easter, a once and a lifetime experience for sure.
The Jewish Synagogue in Florence (The Other Dome)
My Parents in front of the Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge)
The sights in Florence are truly unique- there is just no city quite like it in the world:
Devin and I on the Ponte Vecchio
The Duomo is my favorite place in all of Florence. The Bapistry, Bell Tower and Cathedral alone, take up an entire Piazza
There is still so much I want to do before leaving Florence. Although the list is endless, here are a few things:
1. Climb the Duomo
2.Go to Piazza Le Michelangelo at least 3 more times.
3. Eat Gusta Pizza
4. Go to the Boboli Gardens
5. Go inside the Medici Casa/ Palace
6. Buy more goodies at the leather market
7. Eat tons of Mozzarella cheese, as it will NEVER be as good in America
8. Eat Pistachio Gelato,
9. Mail Postcards to the U.S
Etc, Etc.
Tomorrow we are all headed to see the famous city of Verona, where Romeo and Juliet was based. It should be quite a Shakespearean experience!
